hi,
pretty much went from manchester airport to the studio.
i got there sooo tired, jim didnt show due to, im not even sure..
so we ended up treating it as a social, i couldnt get things right as my mind was fried from lack of sleep and plus i get most of my cues from jim!
we had a laugh, "the shagging basslines"..we talked about the upcoming photshoot..whats everybody gonna wear?,weve all decided to just go in as ourselves,i was thinkin of wearin a dress, but whats the point, i wont ever wear one on stage..im not courtney love,i aint stage diving in a dress!! so its all pretty casual, cept maybe nick,hes thinking of something cowboy related. theres a cowboy in most bands, i find:)
nick and toby played me the new tracks i missed while in n.y, they are awesome, alot darker than the stuff weve been doin already.
and a great thing was said (for me on a personnel level) nick the only original member of the old line up said, the turning point for him,when tiger lily became the new tiger lily was when "johnny,johnny" was written, the lyrics wer written by me..it could of been any random song.im glad it was my words,as i know the grief nick has been through trying to shake of the pain from the last break up. hes safe with us now lol.
i cant wait to record :)
